Tonk is the pilot of a hybrid animated live action fantasy series in an east Asian scene.

Jens Heuler developed the musical themes for the characters and composed an ethnic influenced orchestral score for the movie.

Jens Heuler is a composer and music producer, mainly focused on composing and producing music for films, media and installations.

At the age of five, he began to study piano and chromatic harmonica. While his early musical education was very classical, the influences from electronic, rock, pop and jazz music gradually grew in his youth.

His early interests in improvisation, composition and the creation of sounds led him to Münster, where he studied 'keyboards and music production', including composing and songwriting from 2008 to 2012 as well as composing, arranging and orchestration from 2012 to 2013. During that time he more and more focused on composing music for films.

Right after graduating in Münster, he went to the 'Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF' where he studied film music from 2013 to 2017. Storytelling and composing the music for different narrative forms were part of the education there as well as the collaboration with the 'German Film Orchestra Babelsberg'. In 2017 he finally finished his master's degrees in film music.
Jens Heuler ist Komponist und Musikproduzent. Er komponiert überwiegend Musik für Filme, Medien- und Installations-Projekte.

Seit seinem fünften Lebensjahr spielt er Klavier und Mundharmonika. Seine anfänglich klassische Ausbildung wurde nach und nach immer mehr durch Einflüsse aus der elektronischen sowie der Rock-, Pop- und Jazzmusik geprägt. So entwickelte er schon früh ein großes Interesse für Improvisation, Komposition und das Kreieren von Klängen.

2008 ging er an die Musikhochschule Münster, wo er bis 2012 'Keyboards & Music Production' und im Anschluss Komposition, Arrangement und Orchestration studierte. Während dieser Zeit fokussierte er sich immer mehr auf die Komposition von Filmmusik.

Nach dem Studium in Münster ging er 2013 an die 'Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF' um dort im Masterstudiengang Filmmusik zu studieren. Filmdramaturgische Aspekte und das Komponieren der Musik zu unterschiedlichen erzählerischen Formen gehörte hier ebenso zur Ausbildung wie die Zusammenarbeit mit dem 'Deutschen Filmorchester Babelsberg'. 2017 schloss er das Studium mit dem Abschluss Master of Music ab.
