Jens Heuler is an award-winning composer and electronic music artist from Germany. He composes music for films and media, instrumental music, electronic music and songs. His work includes, among others, the original music for Jan Gadermann's stop-motion animated short film "Laika & Nemo", which won a Student Academy Award 2022, Liisa Zielke's documentary "Sexploration - How Do I Really Want It?", Melanie Lischker's "Life On Tape", a collaboration with Freya Arde, as well as the music for several short films such as Pola Rader's "Beromut," Sonja Rohleder's award-winning animated shorts "Nest" and "Somni," both of which premiered at the Berlinale, and Lukas Olszewski's "Remember Me," awarded for Best Original Score at the 2024 New Bedford Film Festival. His work ranges from orchestral compositions and intimate piano music to electronic music and Pop songs.

In addition to his work in films, Jens Heuler composes and publishes his own instrumental and electronic music. His first solo EP "Rising" was released in 2022, followed by "Siren's Wake" in 2024. He combines acoustic and electronic elements to creates organic music and soundscapes, fusing classical, generative and experimental composition approaches while mainly focusing on analogue and modular synthesis.

His work also includes teaching as a lecturer in music production at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, composing additional music for films as well as working as an assistant composer, arranger and music editor and so he is involved in the music for the Oscar-nominated documentary "Of Fathers and Sons", the German television series "Die Dasslers", "Behringer und die Toten" and "Nächste Ausfahrt Glück", the documentaries "Rabbi Wolff" and "The Corridors of Power" and many other films.

Jens Heuler studied Keyboards & Music Production at the University of Münster and film music at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolff and was part of the Berlinale Talents 2025.
